About the Workshop

With hundreds of hours spent experimenting with ChatGPT, Chad understands both the potential and the pitfalls of Generative AI. In a focused, two-hour online workshop, he will share those insights with you.

Hour 1: Understanding the basics of ChatGPT, exploring its strengths and weaknesses and how best to use it.

Hour 2: An interactive Q&A, where you can get your questions answered on how to integrate ChatGPT into your day-to-day work.

PDF handouts will be provided for everything covered in the workshop.

This workshop is perfect for AI beginners. No prior experience with ChatGPT is required. But even seasoned ChatGPT users will leave the workshop with fresh insights, new techniques and a clearer understanding of how to use AI safely and effectively.

Chad has been teaching journalism and data visualization for more than 20 years at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
